The session was devoted to the election of the Vice-president, the Secretary General, the Treasurer and chairmen of EFC Commissions from the members of COMEX, and also to the appointment of the Technical Director of this organisation.

As a result Stanislav Pozdniakov (Russia), a fourfold Olympic Champion in sabre, was elected Vice-president of the EFC. Max Geuter (Germany) remained the Secretary General. The present selected Jacek Bierkowski (Poland) as a Treasurer. Julius Kralik (Slovakia) will fulfil the duties of the EFC Technical Director.
